I Can Solve Problems

This resource begins with a detailed section about the importance of problem solving in mathematics, considers different aspects of problem solving, the roles of learning and teaching in the problem solving process, how to develop a guide for progression and a problem solving programme.

Subsequent sections consist of a series of different problem solving activities graded at different levels. Each task has an explanation of the problem, a student worksheet and teacher notes.

The final page is a poster listing strategies students may use if they are stuck.
