The Learning Legacy and Final Impact Review

As LSIS STEM Support draws to a close, the Learning Legacy document aims to share the approaches, consider the lessons learnt and signpost resources and the ongoing support infrastructure available to improve teaching and learning across STEM in the Further Education and Skills sector. The Final Impact Review shows the strong impact of the LSIS Continuous Professional Development (CPD) activity in its final year. LSIS STEM Support focused on STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) across the FE and Skills sector, working to improve the quality of teaching and learning through CPD. Online surveys were sent out to CPD participants to measure impact a few weeks after each CPD activity to ensure that it has a long-term effect. Results from the surveys show that teachers and managers who have engaged in CPD and network events have identified changes in practice and that these changes are beneficial to learners within their organisation.
