Produced by Innovate Educate and Aviation Heritage Lincolnshire, these materials allow primary children to look at and measure the weather.

The first set of activities, What's the Weather?, are aimed at younger primary children and encourage them to think about the weather. Children observe the weather and use a range of phrases to describe it, before thinking about how the weather could affect different types of flying machines.

Measuring the Weather is aimed at older primary school children. After they have looked at describing the weather in words, they go on to taking measurements. This includes looking at wind speed, direction, temperature, rainfall and light levels. These allow children to obtain and present a range of data using graphs and diagrams.
