Secondary: Introduction to Microbes
Produced by the Health Protection Agency, this e-Bug resource contains teacher guidance, stimulus materials and student activity suggestions. These materials help students become familiar with the various types and shapes of microbes through an interactive learning card game. An accompanying extension activity reinforces student knowledge of microbial structure through the preparation of research posters. Alternatively, students may prefer to research the history of microbiology by developing a poster on the timeline of microbiology.
