Workshop 2: DC22 Disassembly - Key Stage Four Resources
These resources, provided by the James Dyson Foundation, include lesson plans, activities and a presentation to support Key Stage Four design and technology and engineering courses. Through these resources, students learn about successfully designed products, the process of product analysis and design and about materials used in existing designs. They also use disassembly to learn about design decisions and practise interpreting and critically analysing sources.
The Key Stage Four resources include:
*A planning document for teachers
*A PowerPoint presentation which introduces the topic and includes some activities
*A question and answer sheet
*A graphics investigation worksheet
*A materials investigation worksheet
*A set of question cards
The resources are designed to be used alongside the Dyson Foundation Education Box, which is offered on a free loan basis to schools by the Foundation.
