Science and literacy: a guide for primary teachers

This guide aims to help teachers by providing them with ideas to support literacy through science. The suggested activities are designed to fit into the structure of the the literacy hour, encouraging children to develop their science writing, reading, literacy, speaking and listening.

The book also provides guidance on teaching children how to develop their own non-fiction writing and how to write notes, etc.
