Thinking for ourselves

This book provides a variety of contexts in which children are encouraged to think for themselves. The book: Encourages children to respond to a variety of situations which include mathematical statements. Includes longer problem solving activities. Includes pictorial resources. Encourages children to respond with their own ideas, and questions and provide reasons for their responses. Promotes all aspects of Using and Applying Mathematics, within interesting contexts. Suitable for pupils working from below level 1 to level 5 of the National Curriculum in England.
