First book of science

The Oxford First Book of Science presents and explains the themes of science, with the emphasis on practical applications, required by the National Curriculum at KS1 and early KS2.

It includes themes such as life processes, materials, pushes and pulls and light and sound. Readers are involved throughout, by means of activities and experiments and child-friendly artwork makes the topics accessible and fun. Includes Glossary and Index.
