Teaching science for all children

This text aims to promote the teaching of the concepts, skills and attitudes of science in the classroom. Incorporating the National Science Education Standards, this edition provides ways for teachers to foster an understanding among their students of the interactions between science, technology and society.

The first part of the book provides a foundation for science, learning and literacy. The second part focuses on preparing secondary and middle school lessons; and the final part emphasizes the 4E learning cycle and discusses a variety of teaching methods and skills.
