Contemporary chemistry for schools and colleges

This resource includes a variety of activities that focus on chemistry and chemical science in the modern world. All the material and activities have been compiled by Vanessa Kind, the Royal Society of Chemistry Teacher Fellow 2001-2002. This resource was produced as part of the Royal Society of Chemistry's programme for the support of education in the field of the chemical sciences.

Providing contemporary material as a wide range of chemical topics particularly suitable for use with 14-16 year olds, this book and accompanying CD-ROM includes topics such as fireworks, health, beauty products, nanoscience, energy and clean fuels. Interactive student exercises and student worksheets are included.
