My passion for STEM and EdTech has been recognized by multiple awards and honors, such as the STEM National Teaching Award for Outstanding Engagement with the STEM Community in 2022, the Royal Society of Biology Teacher of the Year Finalist in 2021, and the Apple Teacher Certification in 2019. I am also a qualified STEM Level 3/Senior Professional Development Lead and ENTHUSE Partnership Coach, and I have led the only specialist Biology Science Learning Partnership in the UK for STEM Learning since 2021. Through these roles, I have demonstrated my ability to build networks, deliver high-quality CPD, and support the STEM education ecosystem at the local, regional, and national levels.
Why should teachers engage with CPD?
We are a national network of experienced educators who have lived the exact same experiences as you. We react to what educators are asking for constantly and work with numerous external agencies to ensure our courses are great value and impactful. Plus, they are always good fun filled with networking opportunities.
Why I'm passionate about education
For me, STEM has literally been my life. During a field trip studying limpets at school, I realised my passion for Marine Biology. During my degree I was able to complete a STEM ambassadors project and realised I enjoyed sharing STEM with others. Without the teachers who taught me, opening my eyes to everything STEM offers, I would not be where I am today.
