STEM Baseline Survey - Summary Report

This report from the Department for Education,  published in January 2010, provides a summary of findings from the STEM Baseline Survey Research Programme. It reports on a programme of activities aimed at improving STEM careers awareness in secondary schools.

The primary purpose of the research dimension of the project is to measure the potential impact of activities and resources, such as the development of a STEM curriculum-related careers resource, CPD for teachers and trainee teachers,support resources for Information, Advice and Guidance (AIG) professionals, an economic well-being resource and resources to support work placements, mentors and role models.
