Confirmed speaker!

We’re releasing the details of one of our confirmed speakers for this year’s Using STEM research conference. This is a two day conference on the 20-21 May 2016 featuring the latest ideas and practices in how to use STEM research to improve your teaching.

Director of Professional Development at Sheffield Hallam Centre for Science Education, Julie Jordan will be presenting a session on lesson study in science. The talk will explore the challenges and opportunities of using lesson study to improve teaching and learning in science. Featuring two case studies from science teachers who have put this approach into effect; this talk will reflect upon preparation, practice and effect. Learn about the successes and difficulties this model presents and take away great ideas to implement within your own school!
