Grand Challenges resources

The Grand Challenges programme aims to help young people develop the skills needed to bridge the gap between learning and career choices.

In partnership with the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS), we have developed a collection of resources, to improve people’s knowledge of future career opportunities, the types of STEM skills that are needed and how young people can gain those skills.

 

The Government’s Industrial Strategy sets out four key Grand Challenges that young people can build skills in and make a difference to people's lives:

These teaching resources, for students aged 14 to 18 years old, are a great way for teachers, STEM Ambassadors and club leaders to engage young people in science, technology and computing.
