Are you new to teaching A level biology? Even for teachers with a biology background, we know it can be daunting to deliver for the first time. 

This course will support you with effective teaching and learning at A level in biology. Common student misconceptions, the key substantive knowledge and practical techniques will be investigated, with lots of hands-on practice to hone your approach to student learning. If you're new to A level, you'll learn how to lead and support outstanding practical biology, linking it to effective pedagogy within the subject.
