Summary
This intensive course is for non-scientists starting to deliver key stage 3 science as either a class teacher or in small group support.
You'll learn the key principles needed to teach key stage 3 biology, chemistry and physics effectively and explore a range of teaching strategies and practical activities to do this. You'll put together a toolkit of effective approaches to get the very best for your students.
The course gives you a platform to discuss and refine your understanding of key topics with the support of experienced subject specialists and understand the main areas where students may struggle. You'll discover how to tackle the issues and be able to ask questions to improve your confidence and delivery of the subject.
