The KS3 Package will consist of:
- Assessment in KS3 - 17th June 2024
- Identifying and addressing misconceptions in KS3 - 24th June 2024
- Transition to KS3 - 8th July 2024
KS3 Assessment - This session is ideally suited for KS3 leads and for KS3 teachers, it will look at techniques and tools to ensure adequate and robust assessment of KS3 students to take into account prior learning and to prepare them for KS4
Identifying and addressing misconceptions at KS3 - This session is ideally suited for KS3 leaders and for KS3 teachers, it will cover the thorny issue of misconceptions, where do they come from? How do you identify them? How can you address them to maximise learning at KS3
Transition to KS3 - This session is ideally suited for KS3 leaders, KS3 teachers and Primary teachers, it will cover the curriculum content in KS3 and Upper KS2 helping teachers of both phases to have a greater understanding of learning to ensure that time is not lost within the curriculum.
