Summary

FOR FOUNDATION PHASE TEACHERS IN WALES ONLY.

The course will provide the opportunity to identify, then have a go at different experiments and demonstrations to enhance the science teaching across the curriculum.  We will look to show you how to make links to scientific topics within much broader themes such as The World We Live In, Our Local Area and All About Me, using stories as a starting point for the younger age groups.

Techniquest will be partnering with  SparkLab Cymru on this CPD. They are two former Heads of Chemistry (Mel & Rhi), with 20 years’ experience of teaching science to GCSE and A-Level between us. In schools across England and Wales, we helped hundreds of young people develop their own love of science and go on to get great grades!

We're experienced, specialist science teachers with a passion to put the wonder back into science education. We help nurture a love and understanding of science through our Little Sparks parent and toddler groups, primary workshops and holiday camps whilst continuing to support GCSE and A-level students through 1:1 and group tuition and exam preparation.
