Summary
This remote package of CPD is designed to develop confidence and science skills of cover supervisors and teaching assistants supporting or leading secondary science lessons.
As well as a focus on developing knowledge and understanding of science-specific vocabulary and language and maths in science, this package also reflects on the importance of health and safety and the nuances of teaching in a science classroom or laboratory.
All sessions take place from 13:00 - 15:00

08.05.24 - An introduction to working scientifically
11.06.24 - Health and safety for ECTs and non-specialists
There is a £100 subsidy available for this package for maintained schools. Please note that this does not deduct the fee immediately. You will receive an invoice for the full amount and the subsidy will be released back to the school once the invoice has been paid and attendance at the session has been confirmed.
