Developing an understanding of D&T in EYFS TY035 / A23
Summary
As an EYFS practitioner, you will be able to identify opportunities for D&T within early learning and across areas of the EYFS Framework. You will discover practical ideas which will develop language and communication skills as well as adding to children’s understanding of the world.
You will consider the progression of ideas and skills as children move from EYFS into key stage 1, preparing them for successful transition and for future progress. This course will ensure practitioners are confident in ensuring provision for D&T in EYFS, finding and integrating opportunities across the curriculum which engage and develop young learners.
This course is complemented by TY034 Developing an understanding of STEM in EYFS which take place the day before this one and also has a separate subsidy attached. You will be able to book free accommodation for the night of 7th November if you would like to attend both.

This course is for EYFS practitioners who are new to the EYFS or those who would like to develop their current provision of D&T
