Participants will:

  • Underpin their chemistry teaching with theoretical principles,
  • Experience strategies and resources for teaching about chemical concepts,
  • Learn about common misconceptions that children develop, and how to deal with them,
  • Learn everyday contexts which can enrich the teaching of chemistry and make it more relevant
