Summary
This two day course is written for Science Subject Leaders to help you improve your confidence of the science concepts taught in primary. During this hands-on course you will develop the subject knowledge you need, to effectively and confidently lead and support your staff when teaching the primary science curriculum. You will engage with the biology, physics and chemistry concepts which, underpin the curriculum, and explore progression within the science curriculum. Alongside this, you will look at effective ways to lead science within your school, and plan how to engage with your school colleagues to increase their confidence when teaching science with their children.
