Summary

Teaching pupils with any degree of SEND can present challenges for supporting them to access the entire curriculum.

Alongside colleagues at the Primary Science Teaching Trust (PSTT), we have developed a two day programme aimed specifically at primary teachers which will cover aspects of differentiation, vocabulary development, support to engage within group tasks and ways to adapt practical tasks for pupils of all abilities in science.

During the course, we will focus on ways to ensure all pupils can access science activities and take an active part in the learning. You will explore ideas for SEND provision in science, differentiated assessment techniques and look at curriculum design with adaptions for SEND.

This is a residential course, fees include meals and accommodation for the duration of the course.
