Summary
Well-planned, imaginative and practical science spaces in schools and colleges can create outstanding learning environments for both students and teachers. This course will help heads of science, advisors, technicians and architects to create the best possible long lasting teaching and learning accommodation within budget.
Designing effective science-teaching spaces is a challenge and there are a large number of potential pitfalls to avoid. By equipping participants with the skills to plan, specify and direct the unique aspects of school and college science accommodation design, the pitfalls can be avoided and the best outcomes for students and staff reached.
Whether a full new-build science department, a basic refurbishment of a single lab or somewhere in between, you will be supported during and after the course with resources and guidance to make effective choices.
