Summary

Are you interested in bringing robotics into your curriculum or STEM club?
 
Learn how to build and code your own VEX IQ robot with and receive a VEX IQ Super Kit to use back in school, enabling you to continue your robotics journey and compete in the VEX IQ Challenge.

Who is it for?

This course is designed for primary and secondary teachers, technicians and STEM coordinators, looking for a hands-on and creative ways to deliver robotics as part of your curriculum. No previous experience in programming is necessary.

What topics are covered?

This two day course covers: 
  • ⚪   unboxing your VEX IQ Super Kit and building your first VEX IQ robot

    ⚪   coding tutorials using VEXcode Blocks and VEXcode Text

    ⚪   ideas for classroom and club projects to try and take away

    ⚪   information about the VEX IQ Challenge, a nationwide competition your students will be able to enter with the kit that you receive during the course

This is a two day intensive residential course.

Outcomes
