HEaTED Northern Regional Network Meeting HE001 / C09
Summary
The HEaTED regional network provides a forum for discussion and communication between technicians, technical managers and staff developers. It promotes training events, the sharing of knowledge, skills and best practice amongst technical staff and increased awareness of the opportunities and facilities provided by HEaTED and member institutions.

1130-1145 Welcome note – Institution Lead
1145-1200 Ice breaker warm up to get to know each other
1200-1250 Show and tell presentation from technicians in the organisation/region
1250-1330 Lunch and networking
1330-1430 Tour of facilities
1430-1445 Break and refreshment
1445-1530 ACTIVITY SESSION – What impact has the Technicians Commitment had on the technicians across the region? – An interactive session
1530-1600 HEaTED update and CPD needs in the region – open floor discussion
1600-1620 Next HEaTED Regional Network Meeting event

Outcomes
The outcomes of this event are to:
• Identify and develop an action plan for personal/team CPD needs
• Make productive connections through networking in the region
• Share ideas and seize opportunities to develop technical services
• Discover training and development events for the technical workforce
