Summary

Do you have a broad and balanced primary curriculum? 

Does science have a high profile in your school or does it get squeezed out in favour of maths and English?

This two day course will explore the expectations outlined in the 2019 Ofsted framework and what this means for science in your school. Primary science leaders will discuss key strategies to ensure that the intent, implementation and impact of their science curriculum is evident throughout school.

This course will help leaders to explore the needs of their pupils and develop a curriculum approach that will address these needs.

Now is the time to reinvent your curriculum be bold, be ambitious and give your children the learning opportunities they deserve!

 

This is a residential course, fees include meals and accommodation for the duration of the course.

Outcomes

You will be able to:

 

• Identify and develop a whole school vision for primary science (intent)

• Describe strategies to ensure science is delivered effectively across the school (implementation)

• Develop strategies to evaluate pupils success in science (impact)
