Are you looking for ideas of how to teach pulleys, levers and mechanical systems confidently in the classroom?
Over 2 days this course will reveal easy to implement ideas for teaching about levers, pulleys and mechanical systems, supporting you to develop both your scientific knowledge and a bank of physical resources for the classroom.
This is a residential course, fees include meals and accommodation for the duration of the course. Course fees vary for participants outside the UK. Please contact enquiries@slcs.ac.uk for more information.
Outcomes
You will be able to:
- gain understanding of how these topics link to the science and D&T curriculum
- create effective practical resources to use in your classroom
- develop your scientific knowledge and examples of how these mechanisms are used in the real world
