Summary

Outdoor learning is brilliant! Not only do children enjoy taking lessons in the outdoor classroom, but research has found that taking lessons outside can actually help young people learn later in life.

You will have the opportunity to explore primary science activities outdoors, and take away a number of ideas which you can implement in your classroom. You will also have the opportunity to look at the research underpinning outdoor learning, as well as the resources and courses that are available to support you and your school.

Please bring wellies and waterproofs, sunglasses and a hat!

This is a residential course, fees include meals and accommodation for the duration of the course. Course fees vary for participants outside the UK. Please contact enquiries@slcs.ac.uk for more information.
