Summary

The facilitator development programme is our flagship approach to recruiting and developing suitable facilitators for a teacher and school-led national CPD programme.

This second stage builds on the skills developed through stage one, and will help you move from co-delivery within a CPD activity, to leading and developing CPD yourself. You will learn how to use and embed pedagogical content knowledge, and work as an effective coach on a one-to-one basis. You will also learn to plan and develop effective strategies through the consultancy cycle.

It is aimed at those who have done stage one, and built up experience of CPD facilitation locally.

This course is an invitation only event. If you would like to arrange a similar event for your school please contact enquiries@stem.org.uk

This is a residential course, fees include meals and accommodation for the duration of the course.

Pre or post night stays can be booked for an additional charge and are subject to availability. For more information email enquiries@stem.org.uk

Outcomes

You will be able to:

  • Use data to plan and develop an action plan for support
  • Use the consultancy cycle to set, support and exit consultancy work
