Summary

Focusing on the core subjects of mathematics and science and the big ideas contained within. It will reinforce your own subject knowledge and help you tackle children’s common misconceptions.

The two days will be spent exploring ways of bringing the lower key stage 2 curriculum to life in exciting, hands-on and imaginative ways. You will gain confidence in planning a progressive and engaging curriculum to meet the needs of the children in your class

This is a residential course, fees include meals and accommodation for the duration of the course.

Outcomes

You will be able to.

  • develop confidence in your subject knowledge and understanding of maths and science at lower KS2
  • plan engaging curriculum's for mathematics and science which support progression and deepen understanding
  • gain practical ideas to implement in your classroom
