A level Physics can often be seen as dry and dusty, this course will explore new equipment, old equipment and creative ways for making physics the exciting practical science it should be. The course has been designed to bring together a large range of effective practical ideas that link into the current specifications, for technicians to review and take into their institutions.
The course has been developed on six main strands to make sure its relevant to technicians, these six strands include, where to source the equipment, how to set it up, how the practical runs in the classroom, scientific background to the practical, health and safety and the use of technology in the classroom.
This physics course will include content on making a mini particle accelerator, sound, the tricky bits of the Electro Magnetic Spectrum, Hooke's law.
This is a residential course, fees include meals and accommodation for the duration of the course.
