After completing an honours degree in optolectronic engineering in 1994, I trained as a Physics teacher and taught this and Computer Science/ICT throughout my 24 years in the classroom. I became a CAS Master teacher in 2014 and I am the leader of the Sunderland Community. I am a passionate programmer and write software for use in education. In 2019 I began working as a consultant and I'm now sharing my knowledge and skills with teachers as part of the National Centre for Computing Education.
