Dorothy Warren's public profile

I have taught science and ‘A’ level chemistry in comprehensive schools in the North East and Yorkshire for 12 years. I was head of science for 5 years, before becoming a science advisor with North Yorkshire County Council. I am now a freelance science education consultant. Amongst other things I work as a Teacher Developer with the Royal Society of chemistry, authoring and delivering chemistry CPD. I am the series editor for the Education in Chemistry Post 16 CPD series. I also worked on the Yusef Hamied inspirational science (formally chemistry) programme, from 2013-2020, which involved several trips to India, to initially help set up, design and develop the Teacher Development Programme.
I am a holder of the STEM Learning PDLP Senior Facilitator.
