DAVID WARD's public profile

Dr David Ward has worked at the interface between schools, academia and industry for many years. He founded SETPOINT Greater Manchester (Registered Charity) in 1990 when it was part of Salford LEA provision. Now a freestanding entity that offers a range of services across the North of England. The organisation covers a quarter of the Nuffield Research Placements scheme across the M62/M6/M1 corridors. We are also the agency responsible for the BSA CREST scheme in Greater Manchester.
We offer a range of hands-on activities for children and students aged 3-19. Offering bespoke sessions to a number of organisations such Tomorrow's Achievers,Touchstones Musuem Rochdale and Electricity NWL (Electricity supplier in North West.)
David has been a Head of Science in a Grammar School, SMT in 11-16 inner City Comprehensive , LEA Adviser and Ofsted Inspector.
