I am Director of Computer Science at Holmes Chapel Comprehensive and the ITE Lead for Computer Science in the Cheshire East SCITT. I have taught IT and CS since 1997, after being in that group of children that was inspired by BBC Micros and RM Nimbus in a Lancashire school (I actually won a county coding prize at GCSE - before learning how much I enjoy the act of teaching). I have been a Head of Department, an Assistant Head for Technology College status, a Deputy Headteacher and a Vice Principal - but first and foremost I am a teacher!
