London’s Air Ambulance has produced materials covering all aspects of the charity's life-saving work, from helicopter engineering and medical biology to charity finance, to help students go beyond the classroom in their studies.
The resources are suitable for Key Stage 3 students and can be downloaded at no charge from our website.
Helimed Learning Resources
These resources have been designed to raise awareness of London’s Air Ambulance within schools. By providing opportunities for students to learn about our work through STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths) activities, our aim is to inspire the doctors, paramedics and pilots of the future. The life-saving work of London’s Air Ambulance involves daily excellence in all the STEM disciplines through our innovative medical care, our excellence in high-performance aviation, and the cutting-edge technology and engineering of our helicopters and medical equipment.
