Synoptic skills in advanced chemistry

This book provides the ideal advice and practice in preparing students for the new synoptic element of Chemistry A level, for which 40% of marks are allocated in the A2 exams.

A large part of the text is taken up with practice synoptic questions, many written specifically for this book. In addition there are chapters focussing on developing chemistry skills for written, coursework and practical exams, with specific reference to the synoptic paper.

There are opportunities to practice improving and maintaining links between different subject areas, including data analysis, text comprehension, essay planning and problem solving.
