Summary

The day will be covering - Forces, Momentum & Lenses.

Resultant forces, forces in action, F=ma, stopping distance, car safety, momentum, conservation of momentum, calculations regarding momentum, explosion calculations, Hooke’s law, Newton’s laws of motion, lenses, drawing of ray diagrams for convex and concave lenses, correction of eye sights using lenses.

 

This is session 5 of 5 days for GCSE Physics, each date will be focusing on different topics.

31st Oct: Electricity
5th Dec: Energy
16th Jan: Motion/Electrostatics
13th Feb: Magnetism /radioactivity
12th March: Forces/momentum/lenses
Each day course will cost £200 for state funded schools / £400 per day (independent schools) (new price with STEM from 1st September) Total course prices for all 5 dates = £1000 /  £2000
These courses currently have a special offer for State funded schools only in Bucks, West Herts & East Berks of a TRP payback (Teacher Release Payment).
We are offering a 50% TRP on each individual day - Meaning your overall paid cost per day will be £100.
HOWEVER - if you book all 5 days we will increase your TRP to 70%, meaning your overall amount paid per day will be £60. = £300 for all 5 days.

Teacher release payback offer information - 
At time of booking your school will be invoiced and charged the full £200 per day price. This invoice is to be paid in full as per the terms and conditions. 
Aprox 8 weeks after each course date your school will receive a refund of your TRP value as a payback. 
To get your refund your school must complete and return to us at the Hub a TRP form, which will be emailed to you when you book your course through the hub at the email address above.
