Physics Partners CPD Workshop - Electricity RA298 / C394
Summary
The fully funded workshops will run from 2:00pm to 4:00pm but do feel free to arrive anytime from 1:30pm. Tea and sandwiches will be available from this time in the room that we meet in. You should come to the Reception area, which is signposted from the car park at the bottom of Grangethorpe Road.
All workshops are targeted at non-specialists teaching Key Stage 4 Physics topics. Specialists might attend with the intention of cascading the training to non-specialists. Led by an experienced Physics teacher, the workshops will provide engaging practical activities, supported by evidence informed learning approaches designed to further develop participant’s confidence in Physics teaching.
In this practical based workshop we will look at misconceptions, language and ways to teach about electricity in the classroom.
