Secondary School Based Hub Meeting RC219 / L15
Summary
Lincolnshire SLP is exploring a more local solution for secondary schools in county to collaborate in improving outcomes for students in science.
The aspiration is to tailor support through bespoke CPD and to share developments within a relatively small geographical area.
In order for this to be a success, we hope that science leaders from schools would identify a hub which is most local to them and attend this initial planning meeting.
Ultimately the hope is that hubs would:
- plan a CPD programme for science teachers at all career stages based on local, contextualised need
- share expertise
Outcomes
You will be able to:
- work collaboratively to identify priorities in science teaching and learning and in science-specific professional development for your teams
- share and develop strategies to tackle these issues, drawing on expertise as needed from outside the network
