Tomorrow's Engineers EEP Robotics Challenge

Applications for the Tomorrow’s Engineers EEP Robotics Challenge are open.

This curriculum-linked programme challenges teams of students, aged 11-14, to solve real-world engineering, technology and computing challenges for the chance to win some great prizes.

Students will learn how to build, program and control autonomous LEGO robots to complete a series of short, exciting aviation missions using LEGO® MINDSTORMS® Education EV3 sets. From speed racing to humanitarian aid, they’ll demonstrate their skills at challenges held around the country.

The journey starts in school. The challenge events are the culmination of a ten-week extra-curricular or in-school programme – with the help of structured activity plans and learning software as well as teacher CPD.

The challenge could take your team all the way from regional heats to the UK final on Friday 15 March 2019 at The Big Bang Fair.

The Robotics Challenge can be a stepping stone to the First LEGO League and previous teams have gone on to have real success when they’ve taken part.

Applications are open until 10 July 2018.
