Design for a better world: get involved in Practical Action’s latest design challenge

Design for a better world is Practical Action’s latest global design challenge and competition for students aged 11-14 years.

The challenge offer students the opportunity to: 

  • enter their work into a design competition
  • access a range of global contexts including water and sanitation, food security and climate action
  • explore a range of technologies that people are developing around the world to address global challenges

The deadline for entering the competition is 16 December 2016.

Teaching materials, posters and student activity sheets can be downloaded for free here.

The design challenge, looks at 5 of the 17 goals identified by the United Nations as goals that can transform our world. To find out more about each of the goals, visit here.
