The Big Bang Competition now open for entries
The Big Bang UK Young Scientists and Engineers Competition aims to recognise and reward young people’s achievements in all areas of science, technology, engineering and maths (STEM).
This competition invites young people aged 11-18 to showcase their STEM projects. Whether the project is brand new or has been completed as part of another competition, all are welcome.
Previous project titles have included “Do birds have a favourite colour?”, “Cerebral palsy mobility device” and “Vitamins and minerals from recycled food”.
Why enter The Big Bang Competition?
By taking part in this competition, you will have the opportunity to showcase your projects to thousands of people at The Big Bang Fair 2019.
Finalists will compete for over £20,000 worth of amazing prizes, including the chance to be crowned UK Young Engineer of the Year or GSK UK Young Scientist of the Year.
At the Big Bang Fair Final, you will have the opportunity to get tips from leading industry and academic experts, as well as the chance to meet other young scientists and engineers from across the UK.
Applications for the competition are currently open and will close on 2 November 2018.
