Are you attending the first ATM/MA Maths Festival?

The Association of Teachers of Mathematics (ATM) and The Mathematical Association (MA) are hosting their first joint Maths Festival in partnership with STEM Learning and The OR Society.

The festival takes place on Saturday 15 September 2018 at the University of York and will include an inspiring programme of free events.

Tickets for this event have already sold out!

If you were lucky enough to get your hands on some tickets, you can expect a day packed full of workshops, talks and activities.

Some highlights of the day include:

  • The Magic of Maths show, run by award-winning stage and close-up magician Andrew Jeffrey
  • Bubblz the Bubbly Maths Clown, who explores the maths of bubbles and shapes
  • City of Zombies – a fast-paced, frantic board game where you have to defeat the advancing zombie horde!

We hope to see you there for a fun-filled day of mathematics mayhem!
