Robotics in D&T using crumble and micro:bit SL802
Introduce robotics into your primary classroom - developing digital skills and enhancing your curriculum.
Summary
If you're a primary teacher or subject leader, you can't afford to miss this engaging two-day course introducing you to the exciting world of robotics!
Using low-cost equipment, you'll identify how to run low-cost robotics in your school. You'll explore hands-on activities using the BBC micro: bit and Crumble Controller, gaining practical skills to integrate robotics into your classroom. You'll look at how robotics links to primary D&T and computing and cross-curricular learning opportunities.
Hands-on activities include: Exploring the basics of robotics using micro: bit and the Crumble microcontroller, looking at components, sensors, and programming
Building and programming robots using servos, motors, and other accessible materials
Exploring collaborative challenges, which involve navigating robots around obstacles or following set tasks
Who is it for?
