Summary
Biology can often be the hardest subject to prepare practicals for, and often requires a bit more thought and creativity in getting things working in the way that teachers and students require. This 3 part course will explore a range of common and innovative biology practicals with lots of hints and tips on how to get them to work. The course will cover a full range of post primary activities including GCSE and A Level. Day 1 plant practicals, plant resources. Day 2 Physiology and dissections (with some data logging), microbiology (overview). Day 3 Microscopy, enzymes, molecular biology (overview)

Outcomes
Participants will:
- experience a range of live biology practical demonstrations
- gain knowledge on equipment set up, how the practical is used and where to source the equipment
- share good practice in getting biology to work.
