Summary

 

This sessions is specifically aimed at small schools to focus on the challenges of teaching mixed year classes.  Throughout the session we will be supporting you in ways to focus on long term and daily planning ensuring that all children are learning through practical engaging lessons.  We will be signposting you towards free resources and how to use them as well as there being practical ideas which are easily implemented.  There will also be chance to focus on the best ways show case your vision for science to your school.

This session is run by Clare Kirkham from St Blaise (a small school) and Laura Deacon from Pegasus Primary, both experienced professional development leaders as well as primary science teachers.

The event is fully funded by the Science Learning Partnership (the local curriculum hub for science) and is therefore free to attend.
