In this collaboration with the Association for Science Education (ASE) we will explore how effective practical work engages students and enhances learning. We will also share ideas including ‘supermarket chemistry’ and microscale approaches.


Who is the course leader?


You will have:

  • Developed a shared understanding of what constitutes effective practical work
  • Considered the benefits of adopting a microscale approach
  • Reviewed some key practicals and how they can be used to enhance your practice
  • Identified further sources of support and resources
