Online Science CPD Subscription for your science department RM298 / B211

We are delighted to be launching a comprehensive package of Science CPD support to schools across South East. The package can be accessed by your whole science department and other colleagues teaching science in your school to support your CPD needs.The package of support is from April 2024 to July 2024 offering great value for money CPD support.

The online package of support provides an remote series of science cpd courses as shown below taking place from November 2023 to July 2024:

Online Package 

      Subject Knowledge Enhancement courses

• Subject knowledge enhancement : Biology KS4 (covering: genes and the genome; gene expression; cell division)
• Subject knowledge enhancement : Biology Triple Science (covering: introducing homeostasis; hormonal control; the kidney)
• Subject knowledge enhancement : KS4 Chemistry (covering: atomic structure and the periodic table; structure and bonding; rates of reaction)
• Misconceptions in Physics

      Science courses to support your department and learners 

• Supporting the memory: strategies and techniques to retain and retrieve knowledge in science
• Effective transition between year 6 and year 7 in science
• Leading on secondary science curriculum design
• Moving into science leadership
• How to embed open-ended investigative practical work into the science curriculum
• The Art of Science Demos: How to get the best from Practical Demostrations

There are 14 courses available during the period from April 2024 to July 2024

RRP: £1,000+ 

Cost: £650 (*Subsidy available of £455) 

Actual cost: £195 (ex-vat) available to all maintained schools
